Tech Delivery Manager

We specialize in DevOps & AWS Cloud Consulting for Startups, offering a range of services including AWS Cloud Architectures, Infrastructure as Code, Container Orchestration, CI/CD, Data / MLOps and GenAI implementations in the Cloud.

You'll be also part of binbash Leverage™ (Binbash | binbash Leverage for AWS ) development, the leading, easy to deploy, reusable and most automated solution for defining, provisioning and managing a secure and scalable multi-account AWS infrastructure environment. Its design is fully based on the AWS Well-Architected Framework.

Requirements / Technical Skills

• Previous experience in a project delivery or management role
• Strong IaC experience with Terraform in AWS
• Docker Container Orchestration with Kubernetes (K8s)
• CI/CD (CircleCI, Github Actions, GitlabCI, ArgoCD, or similar)
• Excellent verbal and written interpersonal communication skills (English)
• Enthusiasm for working in a startup agile environment and the ability to be cross-functional
• Technical background in DevOps Practices and AWS Cloud Native Architectures
• Experience in the management of full-cycle of software projects
• Strong sense of accountability and leadership regarding decision-making and working closely with developers, DevOps engineers, and client managers (Director / Head / VP of Engineering)
• Ability to foresee challenges and seek to head off obstacles proactively
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Cloud Architects and Engineers, acting as an Engagement Manager during delivery, passionate about working with our customers, partners and stakeholders to drive the business forward.
• 1ry Customer contact point with binbash Services Delivery Squad responsible for planning (SOWs and roadmap), prioritization of tasks, expedite requests, tasks estimation, etc.
• Kickoff new client engagements and follow-up to meet planned milestones and deliverables
• Participate in follow-up meetings, sprint planning and retrospectives
• Construct and plan joint backlogs
• Manage our DevOps and Cloud Solutions team along the Squad Tech Lead and:
• Oversees tasks priorities and works along the Tech Lead to enable Cloud Solutions Engineers to reach resolution in time under the planed DoDs.
• Passion for delivering zero defect code and for ensuring our deliverables meet or exceed expectations
• Prioritize issues resolution in client production environments
• Guide the team to automate, streamline, and optimize cost on client operations and processes
• Enable customer site stability and performance whenever it's under the Squad responsibility
• Validate with the Tech Lead to grant scalable and reliable infrastructure delivery to meet rapidly increasing demand if that's the case.
• Develop and improve operational excellence and best practices
• Continuously Identifies business opportunities in the client, either by expanding current services or offering new services from the wide binbash Leverage™ features and updates offering
• Interface with clients to propose technical improvements along our Tech Lead using our software engineering knowledge and principals

Where you are based

Fully remote, as we have been since binbash was founded. We would prefer Argentina, Uruguay or Colombia, because that is where most of the team already sits and it keeps us in one working day — but it is a preference and not a filter: make the case for where you are.

Availability to travel is a strong plus rather than a requirement — team gatherings, and the AWS events we run and attend.
